Training: We can never be too skilled, too prepared, or know too much ...

Survival:

Survival training starts with the very basics - such as how to chop wood and progresses to lighting a twig bundle

After the twig bundle we learn how to build a fire with feather sticks

Now that we are warm and cosy we can start on improvising a shelter (someone must have forgotten their tent)

Here is how we called for help. The signal fire can be see for many miles from both the sky and on the ground.

Parkland's Command Post:

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
We have progressed from working off the hood of a truck to borrowing a Command Post from the county.

We now have our own CP outfitted with all the latest bells and whistles.

We will never get the Search Managers into the field again.
